| The title race was blown wide open in this meeting with the top 7 in the overall standings now separated by just 5 points after 3 of the 8 rounds. BOGUSLAW KRYZNOWEK (MILTON KEYNES CATS) won this round to go joint top of the standings with HAYDEN WOOD (LANARKSHIRE LIONS), who reached the Semi Final stage. STEVE EDGAR (WOLSTON WARRIORS) was runner-up in the round but top scorer in the meeting, his 17 points moving him up 4 places to be just a point behind the leading pair. JACK HAGEN (BOTTESFORD BULLETS) was third in the meeting, now join 4th overall. The other rider in the Grand Final was MACIEJ TERCJAK (HULL ANGELS) and his 13 point haul takes him into the top 8 overall. |
| RAY FRANCE (KING'S LYNN LIGHTNING), who started the day at the top overall, and PETR MARKO (BOTTESFORD BULLETS) are the riders tied with Hagen just off the top 3 on the leaderboard. TIBOR NEMECEK (KING'S LYNN LIGHTNING) is down in 7th palce in the standings, falling from 2nd going into this round, but is still just 7 points adrift of top spot in what is looking like turning into one of the most exciting title races for many years after 3 rounds. The big faller of the day was the unlucky LOUIS JOOSSENS (HULL ANGLES) who missed the round through injury and loses his place in the top 8 overall, 9 points behind the automatic spots for next season he will be hoping to replicate his run to the Grand Final in the first round when he returns for the next GP and looks to climb back up the rankings. |
