| REST OF THE WORLD FINAL |
| TYLER TEBBY surprised a few, although not the bookies who had him amongst the fancied riders at the start, with his fine win in the Rest of the World Final. Defending champion JACK HAGEN had a surprising last place first time out and couldn't do enough to make up the gap at the top, eventually beating JEAN-MARC STRUTHERS in a run-off for 2nd place as the pair completed the rostrum spots. Tebby and Struthers therefore led the qualification charge to the GP Challenge Semi Finals with Andre Hayward, Korey Pierce, Sitiveni Chand, Leon Westfall and Jason Isaacs joining them in the next stage. GP riders Louis Joossens and Fillippe Chong challenged at the top as expected but both missed out on a rostrum place. Of the rest Paul Laing, Eddie Mendoza and Hideto Kisaka had been tipped to at least go through but didn't win a heat between them as they crashed out of the chase for a GP spot next season. |
